The Agudas Achim Education Committee is currently working on possible
courses for Fall 2006 .
The basic theme is “Bringing Enrichment into Your Life Through Judaism.”
Possible ideas include: Conservative Judaism; Hebrew Literacy; Torah/Tanach; Trop (
cantillation); Navigating the various services; Calendar – holiday events,
rituals, customs, including Birth, Marriage, Death and other Life-Cycle Events;
History; Moral/Ethical Issues; Arts and Literature and the Vocabulary of Jewish Culture.
Please address any thoughts and ideas about these topics (or other possibilities),
as well as preferred times and days of the week to the Adult Education Committee via
the Website or by telephone to Judy Sobre (492-7973).
